In a major boost to Nigeria’s healthcare delivery system, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), through its Christian Social Responsibility arm, His Love Foundation, has unveiled a life-saving, multi-million-naira Enoch and Folu Adeboye Dialysis Centre at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Asaba, Delta State.
According to a press release made available to THISDAY on Thursday the state-of-the-art centre, fully equipped with modern dialysis machines and specialised support facilities, is designed to provide affordable, accessible and specialised kidney care to patients battling chronic kidney disease and other renal complications.
The multi-million-naira facility will be officially commissioned on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. by the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, in what is expected to be a landmark event for the health sector in the South-South region.
Speaking ahead of the commissioning, His Love Foundation noted that the Asaba dialysis centre is a direct response to the rising burden of kidney disease in Nigeria and the urgent need to decentralize critical care. The new centre will significantly strengthen the capacity of FMC Asaba, reduce the pressure of medical referrals outside the state, and bring life-saving treatment closer to the people of Delta and neighbouring states.
This latest intervention adds to the Foundation’s growing and impressive healthcare portfolio. According to its July 2026 scorecard, His Love Foundation has now commissioned 15 dialysis centres across the country, in addition to five Intensive Care Units (ICUs), three fully-equipped ambulances, a Cardiac Diagnostic Unit, and two X-ray facilities. Each project has been strategically sited to address critical gaps in public health institutions.
Beyond healthcare, His Love Foundation has remained a force for national transformation, implementing impactful interventions across seven thematic areas including education, feeding, social enterprise, environmental and architectural restoration, prison impact, and rehabilitation.
The Foundation’s reach now spans all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with tangible impact recorded in over 650 Local Government Areas nationwide.
The commissioning of the Enoch and Folu Adeboye Dialysis Centre in Asaba once again reinforces the mission of the Foundation and the vision of the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor E.A. Adeboye and Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye – to demonstrate Christ’s love through practical, life-transforming service that meets people at the point of their deepest needs.
