A former governor of Nigeria’s southeastern Enugu state Okwesilieze Nwodo says a president of the southeastern extraction in 2023 will bring unity to the country.
Dr Nwodo featured as a guest on ARISE News on Monday and says the southeasterners live in every part of the country and will develop it as they would have developed their home.
According to the former governor, the Igbos are the cement that holds Nigeria together. He notes that actions taken by a southeastern President to marginalise any part of the country is putting the lives of his people on the line as they are located in every part of the country.
He reels out other reasons why Nigeria is ripe for a southeastern President in 2023.
