Oprah Winfrey is set to host a new immersive music and arts production, “Aha,” at the Las Vegas Sphere in April 2027.

The two-hour experience runs across four shows from April 2 to 4, 2027, featuring live performances, storytelling, music and visual art.

Winfrey will appear on stage and introduce performances by Grammy-winning musician Jacob Collier, poet Ocean Vuong, musician Ajeet and gospel singer Wintley Phipps, among others.

The production is described as an experience built around light, sound, music, storytelling, nature and shared humanity.

Winfrey said the idea developed after she attended U2’s opening-night performance at the Sphere and began considering how the venue could be used differently.

“My first time at Sphere, I was blown away by this high-tech marvel of sound and images,” Winfrey said in an announcement video.

She said the experience led her to imagine using the venue to create an immersive production focused on awe, wonder and joy.

“‘Aha’ is a dream that came to me as I sat in awe at the opening night of U2 at the Sphere,” Winfrey said in a statement.

The show is directed by Ethan Tobman, with Baz Halpin as producer and Tarell Alvin McCraney, known for “Moonlight,” as writer. Max Richter serves as musical director, while stage designer Es Devlin is among those contributing original work.

Tickets start at $145 and are scheduled to go on sale on September 25 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.

The production’s title also draws from Winfrey’s long association with the phrase “aha moment,” which she popularised during her television career as a description for moments of sudden insight or understanding.

Winfrey has previously described such moments as instances when conversations or experiences change the way she sees a situation or life.
