As the tension continues to subside in Nigeria’s main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party all eyes ard now on the October Convention initially fixed for December.

With the latest development, embattled National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus, will no longer be forced to resign as being canvassed by some members of the National Executive Committee, National Working Committee, House of Representatives Caucus, youths and governors.

As rumoured, the October convention will most likely present a new Chairman for the party, who will come from the northern region of Nigeria.

This should pave the way for a southern region presidential zoning arrangement for the 2023 general election in Nigeria.

To discuss the political intrigues in PDP ahead of the 2023 elections, is Dr. Doyin Okupe, a Nigerian physician and politician, was on Friday’s Morning Show.
