Netflix Vice President of Creative and Production for Global Experiences Greg Lombardo has left the streaming company after more than seven years, Deadline reports.
Lombardo joined Netflix in July 2019 as Vice President and Head of Live Experiences, leading the company’s expansion into live entertainment and location-based attractions.
One of his major initiatives was Netflix Houses, physical entertainment venues in Philadelphia and Dallas offering live experiences, dining and merchandise inspired by popular titles, including Stranger Things, Wednesday, Squid Game, Bridgerton and KPop Demon Hunters.
He also spearheaded Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience and the upcoming KPop Demon Hunters world tour.
In his most recent role, Lombardo reported to Mitzi Reaugh, Netflix’s Vice President and General Manager of Global Experiences.
His departure comes a week after Netflix marketing and publicity Vice President Pam Levine also left the company, marking the second high-profile departure from its marketing operations within days.
Before joining Netflix, Lombardo served as chief executive officer of Offshore Surf and senior vice president of Global Location-Based Entertainment at Fox Filmed Entertainment.
