Tiger Woods posted on social media that the 15-time major champion has returned home and will work on “getting stronger every day” following the car crash that left him with significant injuries.
He tweeted, “happy to report that I am back home and continuing my recovery. I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks. I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger every day.”
The 45-year-old required surgery after he suffered a fractured leg and a shattered ankle in the car crash at Rolling Hills Estates last month.
He was found unconscious and with his face and chin covered in blood at the scene of the accident.
Woods was moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for follow-up procedures on 27th February.
