Excerpt: German defence firm ARX Robotics expands into Poland, establishing a subsidiary and planning multimillion-euro investment to support autonomous ground systems.
German defence firm ARX Robotics is expanding into Poland with plans to establish a permanent presence and strengthen its operations on NATO’s eastern flank.
The company announced on Wednesday that it would establish a subsidiary and headquarters in Poland, as well as facilities for training, maintenance and technical support.
ARX Robotics said its multimillion-euro investment would help expand its operations, create highly skilled jobs and foster partnerships with Polish industrial companies.
The firm also plans to work with Poland’s armed forces, government and domestic defence industry to identify opportunities for deploying, producing and supporting autonomous ground systems over the long term.
Backed by the NATO Innovation Fund, ARX Robotics develops uncrewed ground vehicles that are already being used by Ukrainian forces and several other European militaries.
