Dubai Restarts Flights As Trump Presses Allies Over Hormuz

Dubai resumes flights after drone attack sparked fire at airport, as Trump urges allies to address Strait of Hormuz tensions.

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has announced the gradual resumption of some flights to and from Dubai International Airport to selected destinations, following a temporary suspension of operations.

In a statement, the authority said the phased restoration of services comes after earlier disruptions at the airport.

Passengers have been advised to confirm the status of their flights with their respective airlines before travelling.

Flight operations at the airport had earlier been halted after a drone-related incident caused damage to a fuel tank and triggered a fire within the airport vicinity.
