Grammy-nominated singer and actor Demi Lovato, 32, has officially tied the knot with Canadian musician Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, 34, in a private ceremony held Sunday in California, Vogue exclusively revealed.
The couple’s relationship blossomed during their collaboration on Lovato’s 2022 rock-inspired album. Lutes co-wrote several tracks on the album, including fan favorites like “Happy Ending,” “City of Angels,” and the pop-punk single “Substance.” After nearly two years of dating, Lutes proposed in December 2023.
Lovato chose an elegant white gown designed by Vivienne Westwood for the intimate event, though further details about the ceremony remain private.
This marriage marks a new chapter for Lovato both personally and professionally. The former child star’s journey began on Barney & Friends before she rose to prominence as a Disney Channel icon with roles in Camp Rock and Sonny with a Chance. Known for her powerful soprano voice, Lovato has released eight albums throughout her career.
Jordan Lutes, an independent artist known for blending emo, pop-punk, and trap influences, was previously signed to Capitol Records.
Before her relationship with Lutes, Lovato was briefly engaged to actor Max Ehrich in 2020, an engagement that lasted two months before ending.
This union celebrates a new chapter in Lovato’s life and artistic evolution.
