Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday told a global audience no one can succeed outside their educational qualification.
The Nigerian leader who spoke during a panel session at the Global Education Summit, in London, United Kingdom said citizens are aware of the priority of education.
President Buhari also said his administration is committed to ensuring the country attains 100 per cent budgetary increase by 2025.
Buhari said Nigeria’s population is a challenge for any administration; but despite this, the government and people have realised that education is the starting point for success.
He said: “You can’t succeed outside your educational qualification. Anybody who missed education has missed everything. Nigerians are acutely aware of the priority of education, and parents are making sacrifices to ensure that their children and wards get educated.
Other presidents on the panel with the Nigerian leader were Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo-Addo, Togo’s President, Faure Gnassingbe, Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta and Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi.
