An oil tanker is on fire at Toyota bus stop along the Oshodi-Apapa expressway in Nigeria`s commercial capital Lagos.

The tanker was conveying more than forty thousand litres of fuel.

Eye witnesses say the tanker was in motion when it fell sideways thereby discharging its content.

Dampening of the area has commenced as the inferno is being managed by men of Lagos State Fire Service, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, and other relevant agencies.
