Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), marking another major political shift within the opposition bloc.
His move comes just 24 hours after his Enugu State counterpart, Governor Peter Mbah, defected from the PDP to the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), signalling a deepening crisis within the opposition party.
