Asake Gifts Parents Luxury SUVs, Expands Collection With Brabus G800

Afrobeats star Asake surprises his parents with luxury SUVs while adding a high performance Brabus G800 to his own collection.

Afrobeats superstar Asake has sparked admiration online after gifting luxury vehicles to both of his parents in a series of emotional moments that quickly went viral on social media.

The Grammy nominated singer first surprised his mother with a brand new Mercedes-Benz-G-Class G63, before later presenting his father with a Toyota Land Cruiser 2025 SUV. The gestures, captured in videos circulating online, show the artist celebrating with family as he handed over the keys to the expensive vehicles.

In one widely shared video, the ‘Mr Money’ hitmaker is seen embracing his mother before presenting her with the keys to the luxury SUV. The emotional moment shows her reacting with visible excitement as she admires the white vehicle.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon G63 is among the most sought-after luxury SUVs globally, with a starting price of about $196,900. Highly customised versions or special editions can exceed $230,000 depending on specifications.

The singer’s relationship with his mother has previously drawn public attention. In December 2025, the pair visited the palace of Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, in Ile-Ife. During the visit, the monarch praised her dedication to her son’s success, describing her as a “steadfast pillar” throughout his journey to fame.

He also commended the singer’s management team led by his manager Lala, saying their loyalty “reflects the true spirit of Omoluabi” the Yoruba value associated with integrity and strong character.

Shortly after the surprise gift to his mother, the artist also presented his father with a 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser, a move that attracted praise from fans online. In video clips circulating on social media, Asake is seen leading his father into a garage where the SUV had been parked before unveiling the surprise.

The gesture comes months after the singer’s father publicly accused him of neglect, a claim the musician denied at the time. The recent exchange of gifts suggests that the pair have since reconciled, with many fans celebrating the apparent family reunion.

Beyond gifting his parents luxury cars, Asake also expanded his personal garage with the acquisition of a Brabus G800, a high-performance modified version of the G-Wagon.

In clips shared on his Instagram story, the singer documented the delivery process and was seen on a FaceTime call with Sadiq Saminu Geidam, the Chief Executive Officer of Abuja Car, as he prepared to receive the vehicles.

Asake rose to prominence in 2020 following the release of his breakout single Lady, before joining YBNL Nation in February 2022. Since then, he has released three studio albums, Mr Money With The Vibes (2022), Work of Art (2023), and Lungu Boy (2024).

The award-winning artist remains one of the leading figures in Nigeria’s music industry and recently earned a nomination at the Grammy Awards in the Best African Music Performance category, although the award ultimately went to fellow Nigerian singer Tems.

The year 2026 has already begun on a strong note for the artist. Earlier this year, he released a joint four-track EP titled REAL with Wizkid, which quickly topped streaming charts and generated viral moments across social media.

Looking ahead, the Afrobeats star has also announced plans to release his next studio album titled Money, with singles Why Love and Badman Gangster (featuring Tiakola) already setting the stage for what fans expect to be another major year in his career.

The singer recently confirmed that he has relocated to Los Angeles, United States, as he continues to expand his international presence while balancing family moments back home in Nigeria.
