Arsenal continued their perfect start to the Premier League season with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at Villa Park.
After a goalless first half, Bukayo Saka broke the deadlock in the 59th minute. Riccardo Calafiori drove into the left side of the box before delivering a low cross, which Saka converted from close range.
Villa struggled to create clear-cut chances despite enjoying spells of possession, while Arsenal remained disciplined and defended their lead through the closing stages.
The result moves Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table, with the defending champions securing back-to-back victories without conceding a goal.
