APC Tinkers With Ondo Guber Primary Timetable, Sets New Date

The APC has brought forward its primary for Ondo governorship election to April 20 from April 25.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), has constituted a Governorship Primary Election Committee for Ondo State headed by its Deputy National Chairman (South), Emma Eneukwu.

The party in a statement Statement by its APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, names other members of Committee as Festus Fuanter, Victor Giadom, Prof. Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana, Sulaiman Argungu, Dr Mary Alile Idele, Durotolu Oyebode Bankole, Nze Chidi Duru and him.

“By a Resolution adopted at its 144th Meeting held on the 6th of March, 2024, the National Working Committee of our great Party constituted a Governorship Primary Election Committee of its members for the smooth running of election processes in Ondo State”, the statement said.

Meanwhile, APC has tinkered with its schedule of activities and timetable for the Ondo governorship primary election.

Accordingly, the primary election which was fixed for April 25 has been shifted back to the 20 of same month, while the sale of forms scheduled for between April 3 and April 10 has been rescheduled for between Wednesday March 27 to April 3.

Also, the screening of aspirants hitherto fixes for April 19 and 20 will now take place from the 11th to the 12th of the month while delegate congress has been brought back from April 22 to April 15.
