Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has dismissed speculation that she has reunited with her estranged husband, music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, saying the videos fuelling the claims are old and have been taken out of context.
The rumours gained traction after videos showing the former couple dancing together inside a nightclub resurfaced on social media last week. On Monday, Annie responded to the speculation through a post shared on her Instagram Stories, where she rejected the claims and said the circulating clips were not recent.
“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere!!!” Annie wrote.
The actress’s statement comes days after the nightclub videos sparked widespread speculation about the status of her relationship with the singer.
Annie and 2Baba announced the end of their marriage in January 2025, bringing to a close a union that lasted for more than a decade. Since then, both have remained the subject of public attention over developments in their personal lives.
