Air Peace has announced a major expansion of its domestic operations, increasing flight frequencies and seat capacity across several high-demand routes as part of its Summer/Winter 2026 schedule.
The enhanced schedule will take effect from June 22, 2026, and is aimed at improving connectivity, offering greater travel flexibility and meeting rising passenger demand across Nigeria.
Under the revised schedule, the airline will operate up to seven daily flights between Lagos and Abuja, reinforcing one of the country’s busiest air corridors.
Other routes benefiting from increased frequencies include Lagos–Owerri with up to four daily flights, Lagos–Asaba with up to three daily flights, and Lagos–Benin, Lagos–Warri and Lagos–Enugu with up to two daily flights each.
The airline will also increase services on the Abuja–Owerri and Abuja–Asaba routes, offering up to two daily flights on both sectors.
According to Air Peace, the expanded operations will be supported by its fleet of next-generation aircraft, enabling the carrier to increase seat availability while maintaining operational efficiency, comfort and reliability.
In a statement, the airline said the move was designed to provide more convenient schedules and affordable travel options for both business and leisure passengers.
“As travel demand continues to rise during the summer season, we are strategically increasing capacity and frequencies on key domestic routes to better serve our customers,” the airline said.
“These additional flights will provide greater flexibility, improved travel options, and more convenient schedules for both business and leisure travelers at very affordable fares.”
The carrier noted that the increased frequencies would strengthen connectivity among major commercial and regional centres, supporting economic growth, trade, tourism and national integration.
The expansion forms part of Air Peace’s broader strategy to improve network accessibility, enhance schedule reliability and offer passengers a wider range of travel options while maintaining high safety and service standards.
The airline encouraged travellers to take advantage of the increased seat availability by booking through its website, mobile application, contact centre and accredited travel agencies.
As Nigeria’s largest private airline, Air Peace operates an extensive domestic, regional and international network, with services spanning Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean. Its fleet includes Boeing 777s, Boeing 737 aircraft and Embraer jets, among other modern aircraft.
