Air Peace Expands African Network, Launches Flights To Douala, Libreville, Bamako, Conakry

Air Peace has announced the launch of scheduled flight services from Lagos to Douala (Cameroon), Libreville (Gabon), Bamako (Mali) and Conakry (Guinea).

Air Peace has announced the launch of scheduled flight services from Lagos to Douala (Cameroon), Libreville (Gabon), Bamako (Mali) and Conakry (Guinea) as part of its ongoing expansion across Africa.

The airline said the new routes will commence on August 1, 2026, further strengthening its regional network and reinforcing Lagos as a major aviation hub linking West and Central Africa.
According to the airline, the new services form part of its strategy to improve connectivity across the continent while promoting trade, tourism, investment, cultural exchange and economic integration among African countries.

Under the new schedule, Air Peace will operate the Lagos-Douala-Libreville-Douala-Lagos route four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The Lagos-Bamako-Conakry-Bamako-Lagos route will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The airline said passengers travelling from the new destinations would enjoy seamless connections through Lagos to various domestic destinations, including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Benin, Enugu, Owerri, Kano, Asaba, Gombe, Ibadan, Yola and Maiduguri.

It added that the routes would also provide easier access to its international network, including London Gatwick in the United Kingdom, as well as destinations in the Caribbean such as Antigua and Barbados.

Commenting on the development, Air Peace management said the expansion underscores the airline’s commitment to connecting African countries through safe, reliable and affordable air transport services.

“The launch of these new regional services underscores our commitment to connecting Africa through safe, reliable and affordable air transportation. By expanding our footprint across West and Central Africa, we are not only providing more travel options for our customers but also facilitating commerce, tourism, investment and regional integration,” the airline said.

According to the management, Lagos continues to evolve as a strategic hub within its network, enabling seamless connections between African destinations and international markets.
The airline noted that the new routes align with the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM), both aimed at enhancing intra-African trade and reducing barriers to movement across the continent.

Air Peace encouraged travel agencies, corporate organisations and passengers to take advantage of the new services, competitive fares and connectivity options available across its network.
Bookings for the new routes have commenced through the airline’s website, mobile application, contact centre and accredited travel agencies.

Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest airline, currently operates an extensive network of domestic, regional and international routes across Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
