344 Kidnapped Schoolboys Arrive Katsina Government House

The three hundred and forty-four schoolboys abducted last Friday from their school in Kankara have arrived at the Katsina State government house following their release by their abductors. Armed men

The three hundred and forty-four schoolboys abducted last Friday from their school in Kankara have arrived at the Katsina State government house following their release by their abductors.
Armed men at the weekend had attacked Government Science Secondary School in Kankara, Katsina State, and abducted the boys.
ARISE NEWS broke the story earlier on Thursday but was advised by federal government sources to tarry a while to ensure the safety of the boys.
The children were brought to the government house by a combined team of security personnel where they will be received by the state Governor Aminu Bello Masari.
The children many of whom still have their school uniforms on were visibly limping apparently from injuries sustained during their time in the hands of the abductors.
Boko Haram had claimed responsibility for the incident but Aminu Masari, the governor, said bandits were behind the attack.
