Some political support groups rooting for the reelection of President Bola Tinubu in 2027 have commenced a tour of the South East zone, to drum up Support for the president.
The groups; Obidient General Worldwide Team, City Boy Movement and Renewed Hope Movement are holding the joint tour to sensitize people in the South East on the need for the zone to properly key into the Tinubu support project.
One of the coordinators of the group and the leader of Obidient General Worldwide Team, Mr. Ikenna Azomchine said there is a need for the people of the zone to support Tinubu’s government, so that they will thoroughly benefit from his administration.
The groups had earlier undertaken a tour in Otukpo and Yelewata in Benue State, and also in Barkin Ladi in Plateau State, where they met with students in various tertiary institutions, before arriving in the South East.
During the South east Nigeria Obidient Generals Worldwide Student/Youths Engagement Tour, the team made a stop over at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, sensitizing students on the need to support Tinubu in 2027.
The leader of the teams, Azomchine who spoke during the event said: “South East must have its fair share of the country’s national cake, that is why we are joining the City Boy Movement on this tour of the South East states.
“We are determined to make sure that the South East gets it share and that is why we need to key into the Tinubu project in 2027. We have seen the things Mr President is doing and we know he is leading the country towards the right path. We need to support him for him to achieve his reforms,” Azomchine told the students.
Azomchine said the tour will continue to other states of the South East next week, stating that the target are mostly youths and students of tertiary institutions.
