The death of President Hugo Chavez has raised questions about Venezuela’s bountiful oil supply and what’s going to happen to it. The country has the largest oil reserves in the world, but oil production has been low under Chavez because of mismanagement from the state oil monopoly. Now he’s gone, is Venezuela suddenly going to have a lot of “friends” in the international commercial oil business?
